Rise From Ruin is a game being worked at Champlain College as a Capstone project in fall semester of 2024 continued in the spring semester of 2025. The team is comprised of 17 senior students and a sophomore student, those being Technical Designer Brigham Boice, Programmer William Box, Animator Ben Buscher, 3D Character Artist Bre Diodati, UI Designer Isaac Eddy, Programmer Liam Harrison, 3D Character/Environment Artist Megan LaForce, Level/Technical Designer Declan Lynch, Producer Jack McGovern, Programmer Evan Norzow, Technical Designer William Rutherford, Music Composer Andres Sanchez, Systems/Mechanics Designer Caleb Secrest, Narrative Designer Maxxine Stutt, Programmer Peter VanderRhodes, SFX Designer Danni Vecchione, Level/Technical Designer Ethan Visco, VFX Designer Ian Whatmough. The brief overview of our game is a Third-Person Character-Action game where the player takes control of a giant beast who is virtually unstoppable, trying to protect a city that has been attacked by an outside force. The art direction of the game is heavily inspired by, yet notably not based within, Norse mythology and culture.

Install instructions
How To Play:
1. Download the RiseFromRuin_V1.0.4.zip file and Monster Prototype Tutorial Document.pdf
2. Right click on zip and press extract all
3. Click into the RiseFromRuin_V1.0.4 folder and right click twice on RISE FROM RUIN
4. Open the Controls tab in game and read through the controls
5. Play the Game and Have Fun
